Huntz, it absolutely is the pits when you lose your friend, I've done it three times now (my picture is Tori, my english springer that went to a better place last year), however, the hole eventually goes away and all the great memories remain. As other people have stated, you will eventually get another dog, it won't be the same, however, all of them are great in their own unique way. God bless and you are in our prayers.

I know how you feel,I walked my 14yr old Springer Spaniel into the vets last week and walk out with just his collar and leash,hardest thing to do.I would've much rather woke up one morning and he'd be gone but it didn't workout.Springville's Action Jackson March 5,1995- May 19.2009.

i feel your pain, i've had to do the same and i am not looking forward to the day it will have to be done again. i don't know what i will do when one of my labs gets to that point.[img][img]http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww24 ... get007.jpg[/img][/img]
