Do you think we don't know about your line of mens camo and your new spokeswomen Paris? Please! Even awshucks knew about this and he is the last to know about anything!

Sax, we may be a bunch of country bumpkins and hosers from the great white north, but tye would join a convent before you could slide something like this by us! And to be quite frank, I am getting pretty concerned about the kind of "gigs" you've been playing as of late.

OK Sax, I got the email. And I am a big enough man to admit when I am wrong. I spoke to soon and I apologize.

Back to the subject.....

I went to an Indiana Natural Resources Commission meeting where they were asking for input on numerous deer related suggestions, including crossbows.

One of the people that stood up to give input had on a shirt with this "Naked Lady" camo. Three of the members of the Commision are women. I'm sure that they were real impressed with this guy's shirt.

The "peanut gallery" (including me) in the back row could hardly keep the laughing down.

I'm just glad he wasn't there to testify FOR crossbows.. ;)

OK.. here is my take on this.

It is WAY beyond trashy.

Hunters have enough problems presenting a positive image to the non-hunting public. This just furher alienates them when they see a "hunter" dressed in this kind of garbage.

I would not be caught dead in this camo... and I don't think I would hunt very long with another hunter that insisted on wearing it..

Just IMHO....

It is my opinion that the "naked camo" only reinforces the "Red Neck" stereotype perceived by most in the non-hunting world.

This stereotype is also projected in many of the outdoor shows shown on cable and satellite every week.

I have heard many times during my life the phrase "I can't believe you like to hunt, you seem so normal." And when I ask what they think a hunter is supposed to be like they generally describe an individual lacking in all social skills and not very educated.

Where do they get these impressions.

Maybe they met a guy wearing naked camo.

Try owning Harley's and people know you are a hunter!!!!!!!!!! Had cops follow me for miles to my hunting camp on many occasions. Life in a small town.

Isn't it the truth wheelie, people are just so prone to lump people into categories because of flawed perceptions. One would think that the days of Harley owners being thought of as "Hells Angels" stereotypes would be long gone by now.
