heat a fieldtip, screw that into the end nock, and pull/twist.. works best if you have a vice to put the fieldtip in. Just dont over heat and melt the shaft

Easiest way is to shoot an arrow in to a target, then use the Excalibur "T" handle arrow puller to remove the arrow, Poof! Instant removed nock. :D

Or, you always shoot Pyd's hand crafted GTII's into a Block target for easy front insert removal.

Once upon a time, David and I decided to warm up the Excaliburs before our evening deer hunt. You know, just to see if we were on after small road trip.

Along for the trip was my Block target for these kind of things. Upon David's first shot and arrow removal he noticed something not right. His insert remained in the block. Hmmmm, must be that darn Block target, he said. No, I think the arrow assembler didn't get it right, I said. Mine never come out like that, I said.

After a few more shots he noticed another insert gone missing inside my Block. Now its really the Blocks fault, he said.

The way I see it, his lost inserts had something more to do with the condition of the assembler at the time of assembly and not my Block target.

Anyway, just ask David about his last fletch job. Same condition I think.

Would you want this guy building arrows for you?

Kinda feeling backed in to a corner here.. Do I blame the Block and Norms obsession with keeping my brass inserts, reflect on the whole flaming arrow ordeal and use the melted fletching off my sons arrows to fix the inserts or just show Norms high school reunion photo? :D

In our defence, they weighed a lot less after the fire went out. :D
