One of the members of the 24 hour campfire forum asked how other members felt about crossbow hunting. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the responses were overwhelmingly in favour.

was nice but didnt like the "and it takes absolutely no practice to master" seems like someone has been using a rest all there life. i have no problem free hand shooting but it wasnt "easy" to master.

I get looks at archery shops still. Thats why I try to do everything myself. In wisconsin the older crowd is warming up to the idea.
