Xact broadheads with Firebolt bolts

Post by pbearmawno »

I have an excalibur equinox and was wondering if anyone has tried the x-act broadheads on the firebolts. I will probably shoot the boltcutters that came with the right stuff package (because I am shooting moose), but I have the innerloc broadheads that are the exact same as the excalibur ones. Will the 100 gr. broadheads be heavy enough for the minimum bolt weight or should I stick with the fixed blade?

I did some further reading and found out some info on these mechanicals, however, what is the minimum weight suggested for shooting with the exomax or equinox?

Isn't the minimum 350; if so I believe the 100 grainers would put you on or over that standard.
