I'm climbing into my Packmaster this afternoon for the 1st time this year to hunt. I had knee surgery [arthroscopic] on the 23rd of last month and the knee has just started moving like it should during the past few days. I haven't wanted to take any chances climbing, even with the proper safety equipment, until I was sure my knee would function properly. Here's hopping I can add to the NGT Team score this afternoon.
Us old crippled up, wore out hands just have to learn to be smarter than what we are working with. I have larned to climb the ladder rungs one at a time using the left leg, as the right one does not like the pressure. I still get up there, just not nearly as fast as I once did!
