snow is a coming
we are on the border between 3-8 and 8-12 inches Friday-Saturday. Honestly, ive seen enough of the white stuff. Its fine and dandy if its a few inches and go away after 2 days, but when it sticks around for 1-2 weeks it gets old...
I hope we get a little since I want to play paintball in the snow sunday!!

After yesterday's blow and squalls my spruce and cedar fence lines around the farm probably have 15 -18 feet of snow in them. Tomorrows coyote hunt should be interesting.

Re: snow is a coming
Looks like this one is going to stay south of us. All we get is a few more days of freezing cold.
Got a new line for my fly rod in the mail yesterday and had to try it out - I usually fish a floating line, but added a sinking tip to the arsenal. The sink tip was a bit tricky to pick up out of the water (you have to make a roll cast to get it back on top of the water before you can make a regular back cast), but the ice in the guides was the big problem.
I may just stay in hibernation for a few more days!

Everybody's all excited. The stores are out of milk and bread.
I ain't sweatin' it. We won't see anything like I knew growing up in the Midwest!
