Sam Adams is an exception, they make one of the strongest beers at about 27%, pretty amazing stuff.Hoss wrote:huntfishfam wrote:Like our hockey team, our beer might be too much for you.maxman wrote: I think all you proud gold medal Canadians ought to send us poor silver medal Americans a case Canadian Molsen to drown our sorrows

well I don't know about that now..I buy Sam Adams Imperial white beer and its 10% alcohol. A few of those and your a happy camper..
You our definitely miss informed there Sean. ..Molson Golden down here is 6%.
How much is it up there???
On average, for a "domestic beer", Canadian beer is hard to beat. The Molson beer you get down there has nothing to do with Canada, I believe it is bottled by Anheuser, along with Budweiser and Busch. Here it is made in the Molson Brewery.
I remember not too long ago in Michigan, trying to find a beer that looked drinkable, ended up buying a 6 pack of "Labatts Blue", they wrote "Imported from Canada" on the container, had pictures of Ducks and stuff on it to give it that real Canadian look.. It was absolutely disgusting, and tasted nothing like Blue. Still cost less than half as much as what we would pay here though, Canadian domestic beer is some of the best out there, but we PAY for it.
