:) It is okay we all have had the same feeling when we first got our first Excalibur :)
But be warned the feeling does not go away with each new Excalibur crossbow

Congrats on the Ibex, when i got my 1st Excal, love the smell of wax off string burning. Not quite as good as shotgun hull powder smell but close

Hi everyone, got to shoot my Ibex two days ago in the back yard. After shooting a few.Started 10yds center target.2in left and 2in high.Moved to 25yds, 2in left and even with bullseye.Moved front site a smig, shoot,2in to the right.(DAM) I will most likely get a scope. Had to stop.Blasted neck! I think I'm going to buy a crank-a-roo to solve that problem.Any way, just letting you all know, whats going on.And I'll probably have some questions for you all at some point.Lots of fun.Later! Yes Boo I am using the rope cocker. My problem is I had 3disks fused in my neck about one and a half years ago.(To many years on a bulldozer)And its not right yet or it might never be right! The top of my back keeps popping out when I use it to much. And it pops out on light duty use.But not as offten.I have the strenth, although not as much,I don't have a problem pulling the bow back.Thats why I thought the crank-a-roo would help.I don't see another option. Thanks for your concern! I'm always open to ideas! Snapshot

a crankaroo will do fine. at first it feels awkward and slow but after awhile it becomes second nature. also works easily in a tree stand ino.
I am a hunter and proud of it.

I'm sure I see my UPS driver shaking her head as she leaves after delivering a crossbow. I grin too much and say 'Thank You' too passionately.

Hey Snapshot,

I have the same bow and I put a Lumizone scope on it. If I had it to do over again I might put a Varizone on it because I haven't used the lighted reticle yet. My buddy has a red dot and from 50 yrds. is smack on too and a lot lighter. I was in the yard today with the neighbours and we had a little competition. The Ibex is still right on the money from 40 yrds. sitting or standing, doesn't matter and it got me a case of beer off a bet. Doesn't get much better than that, does it?

Enjoy

Howdy all, sorry I mised you.Yes Spitfire I think the crank-a-roo will do quite fine.Just ordered one from Danny. Like you said slow at first then a little quicker when I get use to it.I can relate to that Ischa! Ben there ,dun that.Kurisu still don't know what I'm going to do about a scope. But I do like your ideas, and I like lite.Pour neighbours,I can see you know your bow. Snapshot
