Trout that is.
Caught this one on the public waters of Dukes Creek in North Georgia. Yes I said Georgia
.
I was using a 6 weight rod with 6 pound tippet. The Brown trout measured 26 inches and is my personal best. It was released unharmed right after the pic was taken.

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bet it put a bend in the 6wt.
I gave a farm pond a try this morning on my way out from switching SD cards in my game cam. Used the 3wt I keep in the truck and managed to catch one nice bluegill and a few small ones, but the cold front and dropping water temps has slowed things down here.

Wow! That's a real nice trout.
You released that one but did any make their way to the frying pan?

I don't fish for Trout much, but I know enough to know that that one is a HOSS! Way 2 go!
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

Very nice catch. I wonder how many hooks he has had in his mouth over the years.
