I love my 175 lbs. bow too, an Ibex. Personally, I haven't been thrilled with the S5- it still doesn't do much, in my opinion. I'm keeping it on the bow a little longer, to get used to it, then I'll pull it off and see if there's much of a sound difference. If there isn't, it's gone for good.

Thanks for the advice. Keep me posted. How big of a difference do the dissipators make? Is that something that would be worth my while?

Mixed review on that question. Some say they help reduce noise...some say they don't make a difference!!!
They are some forum members here whose opinion I respect that have removed theirs. I've been toy'in with the idea myself but just can't pull the trigger...scared I'll mess my bow up!!!
I put the s5 on my vortex and did notice a difference.
Hope this helps

Welcome ! I've got the same bow with the S5 on it and I'm quite pleased with them, for what it's worth. Have fun shooting it, but be warned, it's VERY addictive... :D

just bought a new axiom smf, unpacked and put together with mounted scope, took outside and shot 4 bolts at 10 yards all tightly grouped in bulls eye, then moved to 20 yards, shot 4 more bolts all 4 in bull with tight grouping, invited my wife to try she has never shot a bow or rifle and never looked through a scope but to my amazement she shot 4 bolts at 20 yards and all 4 was in the bull with all shafts touching now that is awesome out of the box im impressed, happy hunting
