The grain looks like a topo map. simply awesome. I believe its worth the money. Now to be satified with less. Ouch!

What kind of wood? Walnut? English, Claro, or American? Gary

That is a very sweet grain pattern for sure!
It will be amazing once the finish is applied when it will really stand out. :)

The wood is Quilted Maple. A pricier blank but have to admit very cool grain.

Very nice grain pattern for sure. :D I like your new design for the stock. I could not TRUST MYSELF with a wood blank like that, for fear of fouling up. :oops: :oops:

Nice. We will talk and see about wood for one. Get fancy wood from a sawmill when we go to nascar every year for wife to carve. One year brought back a plank (black walnut) 16 feet long and 12 inchs wide and 4 inchs thick for $80. He always keeps some unussual wood for Wendy. She always takes him a new carving for his mill every year.

That's a nice one! I've never worked any hard maple. I'm sure going to have to keep my eye out for some. I like the space age style too. Buck Rogers with a crossbow. Gary
