There is very lttle difference in wieght when you go with black walnut or maple. The laminates are noticable heavier. Some has to do with where in the tree the blank came from. Don's is from the center and bless with the tiger stripes. Now Scott's is from the outer part of the tree and is naturally lighter but no tiger stripes. Everything has their pluses and minus's depending on what your looking for. Great day is'nt it. :D :D :D

Looks great on the bow . Glad to see it all finally come together .

I may have to break down and try to whittle out a fancy stock like everyone else is building or maybe I could get Mike to build me one and ship it to Canada :roll: :lol:
