Re: which one would you shoot?
I would shoot the great great grandson of either one, so you're hearing from a real brown-and-downer here, but...
It didn't take me half a second to say SECOND.
Both are fantastic deer, but the 2nd one is far and away a better deer and probably 1 year older.

Whichever one came into range first....
Deer & beer...that's why arrows and Hop Devil were made.
Re: which one would you shoot?
can't eat horns, and they take up too much room in tha freezer
but i would still take 2nd one because as mentioned... more meat and his age....kinda like me !!! he's bout wore slap out
he will definatly need to soak'a few days quarterd in ice before going to tha operate'n table
wabi, you got sum fine deers on your spread

I like the rack on the second deer , but either deer would be very nice.

That is easy the one that gave me the first opportunity is going down.
You can get picky on the second license.

Re: which one would you shoot?
Which ever one presents a shot first.
If they both showed at the same time, I'd shoot the 2nd one, looks like heavier 1/4s.

Re: which one would you shoot?
I would shoot both if they walk out on my food plot. Fortunately we're allowed 2 deer a day every day until mid January. If I had to choose one it would be the one that walked into bow range first. Nice bucks!

Re: which one would you shoot?
Nice Bucks Wabi- Man oh man the 2nd one is calling ya, 1-st one isn't bad as well. Enjoy!wabi wrote:Every year I watch the pics of the bucks coming to the feeder and pick one to harvest. This year there isn't much in the way of big racks showing up, but the two 8 pointers are regular visitors with even occasional daytime appearances.
Now I've got to make a decision of which one to target this year.
(I never actually hold out for the ones I pick, I simply shoot the first buck that presents a good shot most years, but it's fun to fantasize. )
