Op needs to let the dog teach him, lol. IOW, watch the dog face the wind. Bet the dog's success ratio drops like a brick on contraband hidden down wind.

The reason you can't find 'scentless glue' is simple a one.

There's no demand for it. Nature [and business world] abhor a vacuum. I pop in on several hunting forums daily, this is a 1st.

I've been mulling this over in my mind for too long, just can't stop laughing.

Hate me if you must!

Been avoiding this thread, because there's not much I could say without a chance of offending the author.

My limited experience with a deer scenting an arrow was when I missed (yes, I actually missed a shot  ) one with a recurve. The deer jumped to the side, circled cautiously, and came back and sniffed the arrow. Like it was thinking, "What the heck kind of a bird is this?"
No panic, no fear, just curiosity.

I'd have to guess it was more than the scent of the fletching cement. Like maybe the scent of a human carrying freshly fletched arrows.

If I was convinced the fletching cement was the problem I'd probably try using smoke on them.

Arrows do have a scent . . .not sure it scares a deer, but, they do smell.

I also missed a shot while stalking. The arrow did a worm burner along the ground and burried up. I couldn't find the arrow. I gave up looking due to darkness. After the morning hunt the next day, I decided to take another jab at finding the arrow. I found it . . .apparently a racoon or fox or coyote or a possum . . .something dug it up. There it was in the path it was taking, but, it was clearly dug up by a critter that must have caught the scent.

I don't use scent blockers and I had a mature buck within 5 yards of me this season and I was just sitting on the ground, no cover. That's happened several times over the last 35+ years. I touched a small spike once with my foot and I didn't even have camo on . . .just my blue jeans and a old brown coat.

I'm sure there are countless times that I scared them off and never knew they were there.

Do everything you can think of . . .and you are most likely to still get busted. Or you can do nothing and you might get lucky.

That's the joy of hunting.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.
Perception trumps intention.

i have hunted on the ground all my life.i don't like tree stands.i have never used any sent blockers.i do get winded sometimes and sometimes i don't but that's hunting and i don't care what you do if the deer gets down wind of you it will smell you.leave your arrow's home and give it a try.you train dogs you should know the only way to beat the nose is down wind.
