Just kidding of course, but it is interesting to know the distance a shot could travel.

good test! always thought about it and didn,t think it would be quite that far . Thats a far piece for a hunting crossbow.

Fantastic now add another 50 grs of total weight & see if'en they make the qtr mile i figure they would! I est. a 500 gr arrow from the 225 pounders will go the qtr.! :D

Bigger field naw, just backup into the brush about 50 yds & let them fly to the open end of the field! They should be there right on the fringe! :lol:

Many years ago Howard Hill developed a game called "Archery Golf"- now that's getting close to redneck - course, he was from Alabama. :wink:

I was curious about this too?

good job hank.that's good info to know.i hunt in an urban area sometimes and i all ways worry about a arrow glancing off a limb i didn't see and how far it might go.
