My pleasure Vix. Glad your enjoying the build along. I hope my explaining makes sense to everyone. Its hard to type to whats going on. Thank goodness for pics. I know the cuts look crude now but I am roughing the shape to where I like it. When I get to sanding it down then it will smoothin out.VixChix wrote:There's drool on my keyboard!

Re: Bugs Build along
Got that first finger groove feeling good.
It still feels a little fat but its hard to tell without starting the other fingers which is next.
Got to check it with heavy winter gloves on and I need to take more out of the trigger hole and widen the groove a little.
We could get into hand size BUT WE WILL NOT. Thats getting to critical.

Re: Bugs Build along
I widened out the trigger hole and the first groove to let the heavy glove fit. Feel good about the first groove so off to the second on one. Marked it for the same width as the first and cut a kerf with the bansaw as a guide.

Man that looks hard to make those grooves! The stock is looking amazing. One sure needs patience for that kind of stuff.

Thought I'd give you all a thumb updated pic. Hand modeling career is down the tubes and I must have touched a nerve because the area is numb. DARN!
Sorry about the fuzzy pic but its hard holding and taking the pic. You really did not want to see it closely anyway.
