Old buck gets a young bird

Don`t post alot but lurk alot . :)
Me and Doemaster went out this morning . He went to his part of the bush and me to mine .
As I was setting up my blind around me at the tree I had a bird go busting out directly above me . In the dark that can give a person a heartattack . :shock:
So continued my blind set up and then sat for the wait . Didn`t have to wait long for at about 20 minutes after legal I heard clucking CLOSE . He proceeded to walk right towards me . I wasn`t setup for that direction so I had to wait for him to walk behind a tree before raising my gun . The closest he got was 5 yards , I shot him at 17 yards .
Not the biggest but big enough to get a free ride in the truck . :D

Congrtas Old Buck 5 yards away is a sign of a great hunter a few more yards and you could have reached out and grab that bird
