Two and out !!!

I guess I`ll be spending the rest of the season either doing lawn chores or running a camera .
This morning started with alot of gobbling but what has become the norm . They shutup when they hit the ground . So me and Doemaster went to another bush we had scouted and knew there had been birds lurking . We setup about 200 yards apart with each of us covering a small ridge . At about 9:20 we both were getting alitle bored of the quiet so we said just another 10 minutes . I tried a few very conservative calls and got a response right away . I could hear a jake yalking between the two of us . After a few tense minutes of not knowing where he really was he showed up suddenly at about 20 yards .
A load of angry #6`s from my trusty NWTF edition Pardner anchored him to the ground .

We went out this morning and he got to carry the camera . We had one bird strutting,gobbling , drumming but was coming slowly . Until a silent gobbler came in behind us about 4 yards away and putted away . Sending the other bird away as well .
But Dad did get some video/audio of the strutter before departure .
Best videoman I would EVER want .
But it was because of the best MOM that he got to come out to play after filling his tag .
