Now that beats all my stories! Now this would have been good: The guide says, did you have a good shot? Client replies, yes the bear is dead and tagged. Guide says, where is it? Client replies, right at the stand. Guide says great and goes to get the the bear. The guide cannot find the bear and then looks up......

That crazy, you can hear in their breathing, that they're a bit panicked, they did well staying composed! :shock:


My children were walking our dog (the one in my Avatar) at Arrowhead Provincial Park and a bear came out of the woods between our campsite and the neighbors. Fortunately for us or dog is super docile and couldn't care less, but the kids weren't quite so calm. I could here them whisper yelling to me, "DAD, DAD HURRY" I took my time thinking they had a deer insight, but when I got to the road and saw what I thought was a really big dog, they both said, "It's a BEAR!" I couldn't believe how close they were to each other and the bear didn't acknowledge them.
