Sounds totally legit to me!
For testing, wouldn't it be a good idea to have multiple samples to shoot, then report on which one they are happy with?
In my experience, as limited as it may be, when a dealer gives away product they are insuring a positive review. It is human nature to give credit to a gift.
Not seeing how using a companies website to veer people away from their own product for the gain of a second party is benificial to anyone, but the "dealer".
This forum used to be about sharing information about Excalibur crossbows and the experiences of its users, now it seems to be a paltform for certain people to make a doller.
So their strings need improving..
Their trigger need improving..
And now their arrows are second shelf too?
Got it.
Whats next, the limbs? Oh wait, Derek Middleton has you covered.
Finally you get it Dave :D :D :D

If it wasn't for that naked guy at that little corner store near Don's, I would have seen your hubby's fine driving skills, but I got there 5 minutes too late.

Do they come in pink and will they withstand being run over by a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan? I'm always looking for stocking stuffers.[/quote]

I got mine today also minus the wraps. He sent me a different surprise. Thanks Don.

I already have mine fletched up thanks to the surprise Don sent. I went ahead and flung a few arrows for the heck of it at 20 yards. I have 100 grain FPs on them and they are shooting the same POI as my Firebolts at 20 yards. Surprised me as the firebolts weight in at 367 grains and the Black Eagles weigh 418 grains. I bet this changes when I get a chance to shoot 30-40-50 yards.

No pictures as I am late getting over to see my sisters who are in town. Will get pics next time.

Thanks Don. So far so good. :D

Received mine just a little while ago. I didn't know Don had his own custom wraps. I will start work on mine tomorrow getting them ready for Arizona Mini Fletch and maybe get to sling a few if the weather holds.

Deer season goes out today so its time to play once again
Thanks again Don

There is no where around here to shoot, so I do not get out to my friends farm to often to worry about having to refletch my arrows, but that Arizona Fletchin tool looks like a lot of fun.
