Nockturnals and Rage BH review

Post by fender »

Nockturnal flat nock: $24.95 for three.
Had I researched here before purchase, I could have saved some time and money, so I thought I would pass along my experence. Right off the bat @ 30yrds I was hitting 4" low on my first shot and the arrow was a little cock-eyed in the target??? I then shot another GT II "with-out" the nockturnal and it was right on the mark as usual. The second nocturnal arrow gave the same result as the first, but with a louder launch sound than normal???? Knowing now what found out from other members and my own experence, I would not recommend these... too risky. :(

Rage X 2 blade: $31.95 for three w/ P head
I shot the practice head included with new Rage X 100gr broadheads with a 2"+ cutting width and it does shoot like a field tip ...dead on!. Word of caution, the practice head does not come out of a bag target very well; it pulled off the shaft and is buried somewhere in the bowels of the bag. I actually thought about this before and put up a 3" foam target in front the bag, but made it too far into the bag anyways.. . These seem like a good deal so far. :D
