Chronys ?
Of the 2 that are affordable to me the Pro digital & F1 which is the better one outside in the sun ?

Hey Vixenmaster, I never used the F1 so i can't give you any comparisons on that. I would say that the size of the window that you shoot thru is much larger on the prochrono. The F1 is a little more critical on shot placemnt. Either one accuracy would be identical.

I was in a similar situation a couple of years ago and ended up buying the ProChrono Digital (they also make a cheaper ProChrono Pal model) after reading numerous poor reliability reports online on the Shooting Chrony products.

I just bought the ProChrono Pal a little while back and it works excellent. If shooting indoors, be sure to buy the light package too. Then go to Wal-Mart and buy the cheapest camera tri-pod they make and you're in business. The entire deal should cost you well under $ 200.00.
