Have to agree ! eye relief can be more of an issue with compact's , On that note I and 2 buddie's of mine all have the older version of the xb 30 compact , our's are 1 inch / 25mm tube's and have used them for 2 year's now with stellar performance. mine is on my 380 and my exo 200 carrie's the old xb-30 ( big ) Saw a guy at the range on sunday and after seeing mine and what I was doing a few week's back he show's up with the new version on his ten point vapour . Not knowing his bow well , I did manage to get him to have arrow's touching at 50 yd's in about an hour. We like them.

Bones,
Do I understand you or a buddy have the XB1? I was looking at that only because I already have 1" rings and no 30mm rings. No difference between the two other than the tube dia.? I can't see one, and was just wondering. I have a Varizone and am not super pleased with the chevrons, or the 2MOA adjustment limit. Any input is appreciated.

Yes it is the xb-1 sr with 100 yd. increment's . Work great but be prepared for possible eye relief issues as i stated. The speed dial is very sensitive so when adjusting don't make wholesale changes.
