The serving starts to spread over time. The latches are pushing the serving to the side and exposing your string. The fuzziness on either side of your serving are the fibers of the string that are starting to break. I'd suggest too...that you run your brace height a little closer to the line towards the scope instead of where you have it set now. Looks like it's time to replace the string.
Make sure you have some twist in your string in the direction it was served to help keep the serving tight and regular waxing of string is recommended i like Dalton string wax.
Most of these guys at Cabelas, Gander Mountain, etc. handle crossbows so little that their knowledge about them is minimal at best. They profess to know everything about them, but they don't! You can get more answers on this forum than you'll ever get from the box store staff.

Your string shouldn't be worn like that . . .I can understand the seraration in the serving, but, something's happening with the string . . .just 40 shots? Looks like the string is hitting something . . .you using a cocking aid, and hooking the serving, right?
By the way, those tips are part of the limbs . . .you would have to replace both limbs, they are a matched set . . .if I understood your question correctly.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.
Perception trumps intention.
