Matrix Help Needed ASAP

I was shooting my NEW Matrix and as I cocked it the rope slipped up out of the grove and apparently engaged the ADF. The string is resting on the ADF latch and I cannot figure out to release the string. I went to my Excal booklet, to the web site even to youtube and they show you how it works but not how to disengage the ADF so I can let the string down. Is there a link on the Excal Web site that I missed? Any advice would be appreciated!

You have to reengage the rope cocker, take the weight of the string off the latch (like you would if decocking the bow, this frees up a hand to push the latch up). Once the string is out of the way you can push the anti-dry fire arm to lift the latch. Once the finger is up then you can let the string down.

Put your rope cocker on it to let it down[one hook high tight to string and rail], put the rope in the groove for the rc.

Pull up on the one handle, release the dryfire claws and lower it down.

Then, re-cock normally.......Don't ask me how I know this works
