Twilight DLX - Excalibur Crossbow Forum
This is my second year shooting my Equinox. It came with a shadow-zone scope but earlier this season I upgraded to a Twilight DLX. First week hunting it fell over on scope and scratched it good , I wasn't surprised it was off and I zeroed it back in. I usually target shoot my CB ever week and a few weeks back it was off 6" low so I thought maybe it had gotten bumped. Since then I have killed 2 deer and everything was great. On Tuesday I overshot a doe at 20 yards thinking it was 35, just rushed shot with rangefinder around my neck but didn't use it. Last night I overshot a buck at 20 yards after I did range him. So I shot again this morning and it's about 6" high! I know it's not been dropped or bumped hard enough to change anything. I never had my shadow-zone move at all and it's always stored in soft case, I've checked all the mounting hardware and there is no movement anywhere. Any thoughts? Maybe that first time it fell over on scope it screwed something up?
Thanks!
Tim
I have the same scope on my 380,no problems at all. When sighting in-it moved accordingly, and has stayed put ever since(but I have not dropped or bumped it). With your bump has any other screws come loose, most times when a scope goes bad the poi goes all over not just up and down, leads me to a screw loose.
Hope you get it figured out
I believe that under the stock there are 2 screws that hold the trigger assembly tight to the rail and the scope mount has 4 screws that hold the mount tight to the trigger assembly. Check to see if these 6 screws are tight. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
I completely pulled trigger assembly out and re installed it, all screws were tight. I'll shoot it today to check zero on scope, if it moves again after this I have no ideals!

I wish you luck, but if your POI still moves I would blame the scope.
