Re: Kind of sad
It's a good kind of sad though!!

Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

Same thoughts here...bought my first xbox this year...matrix 380....saw does but did not harvest....have vertical bow hunted for 8/10 years and gun hunted forever....love bow hunting and got crossbow because of it now being legal and shoulder issues.... I will be sitting Friday am with my 30.06 also!!!! Dand

Same thing down in MO also. Our modern gun season starts on Saturday and runs for 10 days. Then we get a few weeks before "alternate means" season which includes muzzleloader, crossbow along with other methods. You can use a crossbow during this time but only to fill a left over firearm tag. Should be an interesting time.

Same feelings here. Our special muzzleloader season runs the 18th thru the 22nd, then regular gun season opens the 26th. Bow season is still open, but once gun season opens that's what I'll be using, but I might hunt some archery-only places a time or two. Seems like the seasons sure go by a lot faster than they used to...
