y25 buy or not buy
Ok I came across a mint y25 can pick it up for around $550 but I already have two vortex's. Witch my wife uses the one and my son has a axiom smf. Ain't the y25 basically a fancy vortex?? I have two 200# xbow's do I need three. Wife says no.but she said that about my vexilars I'm up to 5 of them.

that's a great price on the Bow if you
don't like it would not be hard to resell.

Depending on what it comes with, but I would guess its rather heavy with the laminated hardwood stock. I like the thumbhole style stock, so I personally wouldn't buy it.
The Excalibur Relayer Y25 is basically a fancy Exocet 200 since its not a thumbhole stock found on the Vortex. Built on the 200 lb frame shared by the Exocet 200 and the Vortex. The limbs are in Realtree AP camouflage same pattern found on the Vortex.

Have one would not sell it for the world . 550 is a very good price . Who doesn't need a spare crossbow or 2 ?!
Re: y25 buy or not buy
Especially for off hand shooting the Y25 is simply the best bow they ever made. Yes it is a bit heavier but that adds to steadiness and lower recoil. It shoots with much lower noise. The pistol grip is perfect. There were only 1,000 made and for $550.00 it's a great deal!

I have a LH Y-25, $550 is a deal, grab it! It sounds like just another xbow til you shoot one.

I'd buy that one and sell one of the twins.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.
