What is the name of the company where you purchased the hard case?

Like the OP said
"Thankfully, the french part was not a problem for me, so I gave Sylvie at Rotomoulage DL a call.

Following the Call there was about 1 week of emails back and fourth getting as much information about this case before purchasing.

The case sells for 150$ + tax in Quebec at retail hunting stores.
She offered me a discounted price, since it was directly from the factory."

I'd bet that the reason some retail stores may not be carrying the product is because the factory is giving discounts. It's impossible for a retailer to compete in price with the manufacturer.

I've never seen this case any where around here, is quite pricey, you can get the Plano Manta much cheaper.

I don't think that the Plano Manta will fit any of the "full size" excel bows. It might fit the Matrix models....not sure.

Also the plano manta that I had did not have enough height for the scope on a Barnett Wildcat, which is a pretty "typical" sized compound xbow. I returned it (and the Barnett, but that is another story).

I have the excel soft case for my exocet. Not ideal, but it does the job and was reasonably priced from one of the ebay vendors at about $65 last year (auction).

I have my Exocet 200 in a Mantra case as we speaks, fits perfect with a scope and a top mount quiver bracket, are you sure you had the 1133 Manta ???

The Manta is very solid and has a bracket to hold six arrows, velcro to hold my quiver and room to store my Hand crank, but it is big, too big for me so I will be selling it and getting a soft case.

DAMN!!! They must have Multiple Manta Models? I actually did not have the exocet when I had the Manta, but no way would it have been wide enough to fit the exocet. I don't know the model number that I had. Had I known that there was one that would fit the exocet, I would have bought it in a heartbeat. Though they are bulky, I prefer a hardcase to a softcase when there is a scope involved. And the Manta that I had was about the same price as the Excal soft case, give or take a few american bucks.

oh well. Might have to sell the excal soft case

UPDATE: Just did some searching; mione was NOT the 1133; it was a "side-hinge" model. On the amazon.com sight the 1133 is shown in the photo with an excal bow seemingly perfectly fitting. $72 delivered (US. amazon prime). The top/front hinge looks like it will need a lot of room to open....but I like!

Here it is openImage

Here is the neck, it was solid but I added the white foam to make it rock solid.
