Ditto,Ditto and Ditto What ya think LoneWolf ya might fall asleep and that big Rack walk right by yaLoneWolf wrote:You ain't kidding...Them sleepless nights you're talking about have already started!... By no means what so ever do I consider myself to be a trophy hunter, I'm a meat hunter. But if the big bucks and the opportunities are there, why not go for a big rack. Especially this year, now that we can purchase up to 6 additionnal tags in the areas I hunt. Why not try for a big guy. Then you have your meat, and you have a wall hanger for your den.Partikle wrote:I see a lot of sleepless nights ahead of you. Your going to have a hard time thinking about anything else but that buck. Good Luck on opening day.
Thanks, Partikle. And good luck to you!
Always learning!!
Home fer now!
Home fer now!
Hoss, glad to hear that the family and yourself made it back home alright.
Gary, You got it!...
I've heard of many guys who's done that... I even know one personally, who fell asleep on his watch only to wake up and have fresh tracks in the snow going right by his stand that weren't there before they fell asleep...
My eyes have gotten pretty heavy myself a few times, especially when the warm sun comes out while I'm hunting during the late season.
