Ok I will be the guinea pig. Just ordered some from Wyvern's. I have been anxious to try these out. I really doupt they will add speed you will probably lose a few fps. But I will be running them through the chrono and I will let you guys know.

By adding weight to the end of your limb it actually changes the way your limb flexes upon release of the trigger.
this generates extra speed at the limb tip as it catches up to the rest of the limb when it reaches the end of the power stroke.

Wow, I've heard of creative explanations previously but this one takes the cake.
In my (considerable) experience, ANY increased weight on limbs - including string itself - affects speed NEGATIVELY.
