It was wonderful to see some familiar faces again this year and make a few new friends!
We really enjoyed shooting the 3D course again this year with "Our Bob" (sorry Bob, that's what happens when you shoot with us.... you get stuck with nicknames!) and also with Dave, who is Laura's husband and right-hand. ("LumiDave " or "10X CamX Dave". It might take another shoot to settle on a name).
I think the most fun we had this year was shooting the novelty shoot! They had a ping pong ball floating on air and a swinging ball inside a bear. Tricky, tricky but oh soooo satisfying when you do connect!
I don't know how Laura manages to get so many great prizes and auction items for the event, but it seems like each year there is more. (I'll admit to buying more than 5 tickets.)
Great event, great cause, great people! Would sure love to see more Canadians at this event next year, eh?
