Sew the mini seems heavier because it IS heavier than the matrix. Check the specs out. That's my one beef it's smaller great but heavier  .

when that changes and it gets more speed I will be getting one. But till then I will wait.

The Official Excalibur description of the micro rates the mass weight at 5.2 lbs, which I believe is lower than all the matrix series except 310 and 330.

Some other ads list the mass weight as higher.

In any event, weight and perception of weight are not always the same and for me the micro is so well balanced I do not feel the weight much at all compared to so many other bows on the market.

well that's a relief because it was stated that the micro was heavier but i guess that changed. Great thing. Was wondering how that bow being so much smaller was heavier.

Well now all i need is for them to up the speed and i am all in.

thanks for the correction coolhl

Yes, new to Excalibur the choices are many..owning a 355 myself I can't see where I would have or want a need to go lower in poundage. I would go up 405, the 405 was not available at time of my purchase also I could not beat the price I paid for the 355. I'm a hunter the 355 balance to me is perfect. The 405 is front heavy although for the most part you are only shooting once at any given animal, speed kills. That's my take if I was not already an owner, the sky is the limit. Best of luck in your choice...NOT a bad one out there!!
