I plan on cutting the shafts down and getting new inserts. 20" is too long and after adding a broad head to it the arrow will be too heavy I think. I was reading some specs and I think I would like to be around 375 grains.

I cut mine to 17" to keep the broadhead from bumping my bow hanger while on stand, accuracy has not been an issue with 92 grain brass inserts, 100 grain heads. I'm around 376 total.

N.B. No matter which choices you make? Without a doubt DO NOT shoot that bow until you have adjusted your string to the correct brace height..a must! Then fire away, G5 Striker 100gr work and preform well for me..never an issue.

Just a thought. Wyvern Creations website has the Matrix 355 bare bow for 659.00 Then you can add the acc you prefer. Scope,a.d.f.,string stops ,cheek rest, I think you could save some money.... At least that's the way I'm looking at a future purchase..

I will try haha ran into some issues today while trying to sight in. My father inlaws target was not crossbow friendly, bolt was welded in there. We ran to wolfs den and I picked up a morell yellow jacket crossbow target. I will be shooting all day tomorrow if the bolts last !
