Crockpot Backstraps Ummmm
I trimmed a whole backstrap n cut it up in 2" thick slices. I put it in the crockpot n turned it on high. Were all waitin on it my 4 furbabies n me. We all get equal portions about 1/2 to 3/4 lb each. My furbabies always share in the deer meat n none get left out. We have 4 more gal. freezer bags full of the backstraps.

I love some crock potted meat, but I also love BARK. So before the crock pot, or the pot, it better get some Maillard going on.

Were canning home made deerHash, so were really tied up all weekend. Going to can venison meat sauce. So 24 lbs of deerburger will ba canned.
