the diff. is in the point the one for deer is real sharp and the one for turkeys are bullet shaped for lesser penetration . what I doo is file a chisel point on the turkey ones. some times you can find the ones for turkey a little cheaper. if you sharpen it you can use it for deer also .

I know this is a little off center of your topic SEW but I've commented here and don't think it merits a new thread...or maybe it does.
So the other day I'm out shooting the Y25; fine tuning with broad heads, Muzzy 125 3-blade that I've used longer than any other hunting head but the first time with this particular setup. I shot at 20, 30 and 40 yards. The accuracy kind of surprised me.
I have 5 arrows that I have been working with and know them well; 1 of them shoots high 1.5", and the same to the right at 30 yd with a 125 grain field points; 1 of them shoots right about 1" at that same distance; they've been tested with different color fletch in rail and all that jazz and that's the best they do. The other 3 arrows perform relatively the equal and accurate and depend more on my shooting form.
Well would you believe that those 5 arrows shoot better with broad heads than fields points. I switched between field and broad head repeatedly and kept an accurate record to be certain I wasn't imagining things. I'm certain of this. All at 30 yd at this point.
To add to the proof, as the day went on, 60-80 shots later, all the arrows now start to hit the same point about 2" right. I have a seriously screwed left shoulder that is considerably weaker than my right; as I get tired I fail to notice that I pull much harder with the right arm to cock the bow. I catch this and make a concerted effort to equalize the pressure and the arrows come back to center.
Arrows are shooting better with broad heads than target points.
Gold Tip Laser IV, 18" with offset 3" Fusion Fletch. All mating surfaces are squared. Brass insert(110 grain, I believe)with a 50 grain weight glued in behind it with another 20 grain weight glued behind that. If I remember correctly the arrow weight sans head are 425. I don't recommend this recipe; arrows drop rapidly because of excessive front weight bias
Anyhow, I thought this was interesting enough to mention.
By the way that's going to be one hell of a large database you're considering on broad head performance. Wow.
