Micro accuracy?

True that! This is my 4th, and I have shot 4, or 5 others that friends own, and this one just flat out amazed me. Some of you folks remember when the vertical bow manufacturers first started going to the shorter ATA bows how jumpy they were, i thought, look at this little booger, it ain't gonna deliver the speed, and it's going to feel like trying to hold a wet dog when you shoot it! NOPE, smooth, and deadly accurate. They got it right!

My findings won't be popular.
I've done most things to enhance the accuracy of my Matrix 380 & 405. Actually extreme measures. First rate arrows, optics, string, triggers, etc
The second bow tested is an Exomat/or cet -thumbhole. #225, Red Hot Arrows, Bolt cutters, and Zombies/AL insert, 170g points. Superb optics. Factory string.
Third bow is Mini, factory arrows, used 100,125,150,170 field points. Factory scope.
Testing all 4 xbows off Hart Windage adjustable rest/#13 rear rest, wind flags.
Most accurate to least: Exocet/Mat? -->Matrix (both same) --> Mini
Exocet : 80 yds consistent 1" groups with Boltcutters, (either arrow-wow!)
Matrix :80-100 yds 1 1/2" -2"
Mini : 2" -2 1/2" @ 50 yds

There was no bias in this testing. My crossbows that have had an inordinate amount of $ poured into them. The other 2 xbows are stock. I wanted my xbows to at least tie for most accurate. I use wind flags, benchrest technics, etc. I think this test was much more of a crossbow accuracy test as opposed to shooter skill.
The widest, lowest poundage xbow was most accurate. Something to consider.
The middle length xbows with slightly less to slightly more poundage than the Mini were the next most accurate.
The narrowest, next to highest poundage xbow was least accurate.
Arrow speed nor poundage appear to be the major factor in accuracy. Limb length appears to be the major factor.
Please feel free to evaluate these findings differently. I may have overlooked something.

It is hard to beat the Exo line for accuracy.

I seriously doubt that you overlooked much if anything in your tests.

SEW, as usual you did the due diligence, I'm sure. I agree that the 2" @ 50 yards is probably what most people can expect, there would have to be some major tweaking here, and there to get that group half that size. I'm mainly concerned about hunting, whitetails in particular, and take shots inside 30 yards nearly always. To me, that makes this model perfect, especially for tree stand hunters. I also do 90% of my shooting after the initial setup is complete, off hand. To me, that is the way my shots while turn out, just because the deer don't pose up in front of a rest! This model is the best Excalibur I have handled for off hand shooting. This spring, i will run it through the rigors of bench shooting, and try to get 1-1/2" groups at 50 yards, but 2" will work too!
Now, your question of weather you missed anything, I highly doubt it!

Are you shooting the same arrows from each bow or bow specific?

I hunt in thick brush . A 30 yard shoot is rare ! No need for me to shoot any farther just more walking to fetch my arras.
