Micro Riser Question

Post by StormDragon »

Odd question but besides the one main bolt underneath that connects the riser to the barrel, is/are there any other things that connect them?

The reason I ask it i went to take the riser of yesterday to put some foam (not spray or loose) and after taking the bolt out, i couldn't budge the riser (almost like it was fused onto the barrel or i was missing a bolt?)

I didn't assemble it, the local shop I got it from.

Thanks in advance

You have the recoil lugs on the bottom of the riser . So the riser will not move forward . It has to come straight up .

Well as it turns out a hammer really was needed to "persuade" the riser to come off. And its been off and on twice and now back on with foam stuffed in the rail.

Thanks everyone for your help. Much appreciated!

The expanding foam insulates potential resonance emitted from the hollow mainframe.
