Great Deal (smalls)

Post by Tom »

I used to laugh & cry when I would read of all the great deals members would come across. I would think, why could I never get something like that.

Well Sat changed things. I normally go for a ride on my trike and stop at yard sales and only buy things I need. This day is the first time I ever purchased anything to resell.
Bushnell laser rangefinder yardage pro X500 model #20-1925
in new condition with the manual and travel case for $5.

On top of that I got an almost new portable Brinkmann BBQ & a nice sony home theater system for another $30

I guess I can consider myself lucky.

Naaah guys, I called him in the phone and he admitted it only works out to 19 yards. But paulaboutforum, I'll give you 50 bucks for it anyway just to take it off your hands.

Actually I did a test with my hunting range finder and the ranged distances were all within +/- 1 yard. I even ranged a house at 493 yards. The surprising thing was it worked as close as 7 yards where my hunting unit is 16 yards. I did not have the ability to get ranges greater then what I did.

I am still trying to figure out if I have room to take it. It is large enough that you can fit 2 racks of ribs on it. But that means my trailer might get over loaded. Plus the more I take, means I need to peddle harder :D.

Too bad this model range finder is designed for golf, but it can be use for hunting or target ranges.
