Hi,
Just purchased my 1st crossbow, a Micro 335 and I have a question regarding the scope on it (Octane Dead-zone)
The actual reticle is different from the one in the manual.
In the manual, the middle cross hair is for 20yd, the arrow above it is for 10yd, the arrow below the centered cross hair is for 30yd and so on up to 50yd.
My actual scope doesn't have an arrow above the centred cross hair. So should I use the centered cross hair for 10 or 20yd ??
Welcome, use the center crosshair for a 20 yard POI.

My dead-zone is just like the one in the manual. That's funny that they seem to have different reticles on supposedly the same scope. I wish mine had the extra chevron on the bottom for 60 yards. I have thought about making mine: crosshair 25, no.2 35, no.3 45, no.4 55. I have found that I can do the crosshair out to 25 yds. with no holdover or holdunder and only be a couple of inches high or low. By the way, I like your thin top reticle, it allows better vision of the target.
I just held a micro at Cabelas and the scope had the full recticle and I really liked how clear it was. Seems to be a nice scope. I asked to see a zeiss xb75 but they didn't have it in stock!
I really liked the feel of the micro!
