I have been looking into buying a Excalibur for a while and I'm about to pull the trigger this week the problem is the 310,330,and the grizzly going to be used for deer, black bear and just general shooting looking for easy cocking I'm getting old and my granddaughter and daughter in law wants to use it too,if I'm going to spend from 500-800 I want to make sure,so here's the three I'm thinking
310
330
Grizzly

I'm leaning toward the 310 but don't know very much about crossbows

Welcome! I absolutely love my Grizzly and for the price you can't beat it.
Matrix Grizzly
Hawke XB30 Pro
8ptbuk Custom Flemish String
Spynal Tapp 314gr 18" Bolts
Ramcat 100gr

Genesis 27:3
Now then, get your equipment, your quiver and bow, and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

For the money, the Grizzly hands down will do all you need.

Welcome to the Forum !! :D

Personally, I think your "Leaning in the right direction"

I'd also go with the 310 as it's the same draw weight (200#) as a Grizzly, and faster by a bit... The info charts on each also says the 310 is 4 oz lighter and it does have the aluminum rail.... I think it will also fit into your given price range.

just my $ .02

The Grizzly is nice the 310 also. But if it was between the three? I would get the 330 without question. It's the most money. Yep! Yep! and never look back...

Drs.
I am 58, 5' 4" 150# dripping wet.
I have had hernia and back surgery.
I bought the 310 and it is a joy to shoot all afternoon and will take down anything you will be hunting. I bought a 330 for hunting with and it is a little tougher for me to cock, and I need to take my time when target shooting or it starts to wear on me... (hernia and back)
The 310 and the grizzly are pretty close as far as draw weight and speed.

I'm sure the grizzly is great and the price is better but one of my question i have if
In couple of years I decided to sale or trade for one that's a little faster would I get get more if it would have the aluminum frame instead of the smf frame so want I have studied up to this point is the 310 is a little easier on the limb then the 330 and the 355 if I'm wrong sit me straight on this

I have sold 3 of the 5 that I bought never intending to do it, but knowing that I would lose some money. The thing that you have to consider is that new models always come out, and used value is always dictated by what is available, and what the customer is willing to pay. I had an SMF model, zero issues or complaints! You will need some accessories, so if money is a big factor, get the Grizzly.

That's not the big factor money I just want to get the right one that easy to pull back and fast and light

The only one the dealer had around me was the micro 335 and it was sweet but would hate to cock it a lot
