It appears they lengthened the shaft to extend the blade 1/2" to a 2.5 cutting hole over the 2" rage.

Looks very much like the Killzone Crossbow with a collar. Check out the Killzone, 2" blades .039''s thick, blade retention system that does not rely on collars, just sayin', and a cut on contact tip.

Pick some up and compare the penetration to other brands on the market.
Rage has never produced a broadhead that would penetrate to the same depth as just about any of it's competitors.
Not a big deal if you are shooting more power than you would ever need, but if you shoot lighter/slower bows the Rage is NOT the best head to go with.
If they spent half as much on engineered tests and development as they do on marketing they would probably produce an awesome head.
The greatest proponents of Rage heads are those that have shot very little else and never done head to head comparisons.
But they do fly nice....
