Triggertech
So I have a TT matrix 2.5 hunter. I remember that the matrix models TT's were specially made to break at the correct pull weight due to the new higher poundage bows. Now that they only sell the single stage 2.5 for all models. I wonder what those triggers actually break at on the matrix 380 405 or 400 bullpup?
Man I wish I would thought to buy a few extra 2 stage Triggertech to stock pile and prob 1-2 TT matrix 1.5 single stage target models as well. I figured they were going to be around awhile. I never tried their single stage 2.5 but just love their 2 stage matrix hunter model. Sure wish that they would carry both the single and 2 stage models. Even if they just carried 1 of each. IMHO the 2 stage is more practical for hunting while the single stage is better at bench shooting. Please Trigger Tech if you read this..., I know you guys are expanding and partnering with other companies now (limited manufacturing room) but bring back th 2 stage triggers. Is 2 triggers really that hard to keep around for us. We are the legacy customers that originally helped propel you to the great company you are now. If you could bring back the 2 stage option that would be awesome. Even if only for a limited time as to allow a few of us to stock up on a few.

That was incorrect. It will fit only unknow is the trigger pull, if the linkage effects the weight.deerman41 wrote:someone posted that TT won't fit 400 Bullpup

The tt trigger will not work on the new bulldog it's a completely different trigger design if you look at the photo

Danny miller says it will fit no problem. But hey dont believe me.
As I said before trigger box is the SAME. It does however have a linkage THATS the only difference.

I dunno, JCnoble makes a strong point, Newb. He did look at the photo. Welcome to the forum, JC. Mike is a guy who knows a thing or two, so when he writes something you can take it to the bank.
My thinking, and this could be completely wrong, but if the 400Dog trigger mech is exactly the same as other Matrix units, all variables being equal except the linkage in the new bullpup platforms; I don't see how the trigger pull could be any lighter or smoother as a consequence. But wtfdik?

Frank from TT hasn't tested it in a Bulldog as of yet so he is unsure what difference if any the linkage will make. Danny Miller is the one that told Frank it will fit no problem, I would assume he would know what he is talking about but I could be wrong
The TT im buying next week is destined for a Bulldog. Ill talk to Frank about more when i see him.

I wonder what the trigger is like in the Micro 355...

Re: Triggertech
Jeff just go shoot and bring one home.
It was good also the bulldog surprised me as well for having a linkage. It was smooth and crisp lighter then i expected too. They are working on improving their triggers and it showed.

Re: Triggertech
The trigger in the Matrix 350 LE i just bought is the smoothest Excalibur trigger I have seen. I was planning to install a TT when I got the bow but am well satisfied with the factory trigger. No creep at all and breaks like glass.

Re: Triggertech
I can honestly say now, there certainly wasn't any need for replacing my stock trigger unit's with trigger tech's. It wasn't a creep issue I was having. It was claws eating servings. So I ordered 2. While waiting I decided to take apart my stock triggers and see what I could do, since I've done all kinds of rifle triggers in the past. Glad I did. Very simple. I used my rotary polishing tools to do the claws and sear latches. Put them back in my micro 335 and matrix 355 and really liked the new feel. But was feeling excited to get and install the trigger tech's. Long story short. Wasn't impressed. One was actually tearing up my servings. I called TT, he said mail it back and they would polish it up better or replace it. I thought this is just stupid. I paid for custom triggers and just my luck, get one that wasn't shown attention to detail. That's why I like to personally do things to make them better if I can. So I took that trigger Tec apart and did the same polish job. No more serving problems with it or my stock Excalibur trigger unit's. And my stock triggers break like glass. No noticeable difference between them or the single stage TTs. I'm not saying just anyone should take theirs totally apart and polish. Especially the sears. A little polishing goes a long ways. Plus if your concerned with warranty repairs, there's a seal stating voiding it. And Excalibur did offer to see what was going on with that one trigger. For me, the trigger tech's were a waste of money. But would have WOW factor for someone who was coming from having a bad feeling trigger. ( That could be fixed) Just my experience.Lpolishingnd Sticks wrote:I've had 3 tt sold them all, seen no difference in my poi with stock or ttrobertyb wrote:The trigger in the Matrix 350 LE i just bought is the smoothest Excalibur trigger I have seen. That is interesting. I sent an inquiry as well about my TT eating my Micro servings. They sent me a list of possible causes but my bow has none of the possible issues. I switched strings so we will see what happens...

Re: Triggertech
Yup. He mentioned that to me on my first call to him.And sent a list. Then I thought I shouldn't have to touch a darn thing myself. It was a point to him I was making. Then he said to just mail it back. I knew about Boos way to polish. But after seeing how easy the trigger unit's were, decided to take them completely apart and polish everything. Sure was easy. But still. They shouldn't pass the buck off if there's a problem. I'm glad I didn't waste time sending it back though. And I should mention. To the naked eye it looked polished. Didn't see anything that stood out as a burr on the claws. But the added polishing I did must have found it. And I was testing with all different maker's strings too. It wasn't the guy's strings. It was the claws.
