I have always loved my pheonix. That said I recently purchased an Exocet 200 and it is awesome. Just as accurate but a little faster. Now I have pulled the trigger on a matrix 350LE! I am anxiously awaiting it's arrival!! I have a feeling it will be my new favorite!!
I guess as stated earlier my favorite is the last bow I've shot!!

My Micro 335, though a Micro 315 or 355 would work just the same. Today I put my hands on all of the new ones at the PA Sportsmans show to include the 400. While I think the 400 looks nice, it still doesn't compare to the Micro lineup to me. All the power you need in a compact lightweight package. Size matters.

Micro 335 gets my vote and I have owned, at one time or another, practically all of the Excals up to this year. Excals are my opium.

I've shot almost every model Excal has made at one time or another and I still like my Phoenix the best.More than enough power for hunting and still easy to cock 40+ times a day for 3D shooting.

Re: Your favorite.
Have to say I love my Matrix 355 but who knows next year.
Don't see how you can go wrong with any.
If I had to only keep one of mine with no possibly of repair parts I guess I would choose the Vortex.
Out of my bows it should be easiest on the serving and limbs and the scope is a verizone, so no battery to replace.
Also, if the Vortex can't do it I doubt the other ones could either.

Re: Your favorite.
I have had 3 so far,150# Vixen, Matrix 310 & 330.I sold the Vixen shortly after I got it because my wife didn't think I needed 3. lol
I used the 310 the first year I had it, then picked up a 330 for hunting and designated the 310 for shooting all afternoon. After falling on hard times I sold the 330 and kept the 310 since it was very easy to shoot for hours at a time and was still plenty good for hunting. But I decided I wanted a little more speed for hunting so I bought a new riser and a set of blemished limbs so that I can use a 330 for hunting. It only takes a couple minutes to swap out the risers and adjust my scope about 3 clicks when I want to change risers

The Black Vixen with the machined riser & mag-tip limbs was virtually indestructible, superbly accurate, and very easy to maintain!

Re: Your favorite.
I just spent a full season with my Micro 315 and I have to say this is the only bow that I have no intentions to part ways with. Killed a nice bear and buck with it and it has proved to be reliable and deadly accurate. If I get a suppressor someday I won't sell this one to fund the new bow.. lol
