Being transparent

Post by Boo »

An issue came up when I went to post the Kieara charity in another forum. So I want to clarify my position.
None of the raffle money for the Grizzly for Kieara's charity drive goes through my hands. I make absolutely zero money. It will, in fact, cost me a few hundred dollars to buy the bow. So it is costing me money to run this raffle.
In regards to Boofest, that get together cost me money and effort as well as some effort from volunteers to have it happen.
I don't know who it was at that forum, but I wish whoever it was, could please not pick at something where a person is trying to do some good and make a difference. I wish that person would have the intestinal fortitude to call me and ask the questions. If anyone wants to oversee what is being done to any of the money, they are quite welcome to check it out. If anyone wants me to stop helping others let me know.
Thanks for allowing me up on a soap box!

It baffles the mind that there are people out there that can't see that some people do good things for others because they are just good people and that's it. Don I don't know you very well but from what I have seen from my little back seat on this forum YOU are a very special person one who gets great joy by giving to others. You are bless with that gift. Don't let some jerk take that away .

I've been watching on this forum for a long time, no one does more than you for others Boo. I've personally never met you, but you helped me in the beginning as pertaining to the use of my crossbow. I've seen you give countless others advice selflessly. Even if it meant you not selling one of your strings etc. As stated above, those that would cast stones are simply jealous. Please don't stop being who you are, it makes me want to be better at helping those in need!

Well said.

I don't post on here much these days. But you and Karin do more good and touch more lives than you could possibly know. Please don't let the a mental midget with diarrhea of the keyboard get you down.

There will always be somebody that will start trouble. they just want to see the world burn.

I appreciate the work you do! Just keep on keeping on and ignore the folks who like to stir the pot (they can't cook anyways)!
