Very Affordable Backup Bow!!!!

Very Affordable Backup Bow!!!!
I am thrilled with the performance of my Matrix 330 and I understand that the likelihood of an Excalibur failure is EXTREMELY LOW. That said, had I not had a friend to lend me a bow I would have been sidelined for 1-2 weeks this past season during the rut. So, this is my solution to having a backup for next hunting season.
From what I've learned on this forum, and from personal experience, 99.9% of all failures involve the string and/or limbs of an Excalibur (again, very unlikely). Thank you Peter for making this affordable. Now in the event of failure I change 4 screws, quickly sight in (a couple of shots) then back in the woods within a few minutes!!

Steve (or whatever your real name is), there you go again, all you are trying to do is cause problems.
How many arrows do you carry when you go hunting. Is it more then one, if so, why, are you not confident you can kill with one arrow. Do you carry insurance on your vehicles, house. If so, why do you do that.
Excalibur crossbows are not required to have extra parts like limbs, risers, on hand but some owners do like to have them as an insurance for "Just in Case". It is a great thing that Excalibur does allow these "extra parts" to be purchased by owners.

Curious as to the cost of the limbs and the riser. I do like the idea of a backup,
always had one when compound bow hunting.

Probably $80 plus shipping. Look at the top of the page and click on CONTACT and ask or call Excalibur and ask. Easiest way to get a correct answer without the Probably part.TenshiB wrote:How much would spare limbs on the old Exo series be? I have an Exomax and an Axiom.

Re: Very Affordable Backup Bow!!!!
Sorry to have derailed your thread with Joe's pop in activities,,,,,
Nice setup, but you might as well get a spare rail or trigger, as I don't think you could ever have a failure with the 330 Matrix, I believe their limbs are more fail safe on a 330 Matrix, than the old Vixen!!! The 330 I had was a very sweet bow, light, quiet, accurate to a fault, and if anything could fail, I think the stock is what I grab for a spare on that model,,,
But you definitely have your bases covered! and have a very reliable bow!

Re: Very Affordable Backup Bow!!!!
No worries. You didn't derail anything. (that guy needs a new hobby) That said, I chose the M330 for reliability however a little cheap insurance never hurtswildcatter wrote:Sorry to have derailed your thread with Joe's pop in activities,,,,,
