Just wondering , How many deer tags are you allowed in your hunting area. In my area of Pa. i get one buck tag (3 pts.on one side or more) and two doe tags(drawing you dont always get them)
Maryland allows 2 antlered and 10 antlerless per firearm type. So between archery, gun, and blackpowder thats 36 and that is for just region B. If you hunt both regions your limit is around 40 deer per year. Then you have the special wildlife management areas that have their own rules.

In Illinois, you get 2 bucks total, no matter what hunting method you use. For bow, you can harvest as many does as you are willing to buy permits for. A resident bow permit is $26, and that gives you one deer tag for either sex, plus one anterless tag.
Between CWD fears and the pressure on legislators from the insurance lobby, there are rumors that the state wants to drastically reduce our deer herd. Locally, it seems this year the herd is already reduced. I've seen less deer this year than any the last 8 yrs.
Arkansas:
Archery/Crossbow - Limit two, no more than one legal buck. A zone doe quota permit is not required to take a doe unless hunting when a firearms deer season is open.
Ohio 1 special permit for 1 Buck, 1 special permit for a doe in another zone in my case, some zones you may take you a Buck and a doe = 2 special permit's. Then you are also allowed 4 urban permit's...total deer would be 6...1 buck 5 doe..
In 82A this year, we can get up to 6 extra tags... that is if you get up early enough, they were all sold out before I could get thru, next year i'm just gonna go up and wait in line.
