Installing trigger
I'm getting ready to put a new tt trigger in my matrix 355 and I see the bolts that come with it already has something on the bolts, should I still use the blue loctite

Re: Installing trigger
The stuff on there is what is recomended .If you were to take it apart again i would re locktite and start fresh . I have four tts in my bows i never had one come loose but i tend to have a heavy torqe hand . Lol

Re: Installing trigger
I'm pretty sure that that is a locking compound, but one SMALL drop of the Blue won't hurt. I did that when i installed mine two plus years ago, zero issues. Let it setup for 24 hours minimum.

Re: Installing trigger
Yes, they apply loctite to the screws so it really isn't needed.

Re: Installing trigger
be careful with the trigger tech triggers and how you torque them down. my experience is they can be stripped even by hand tight. i dont know how they tap there threads but they are easier to strip.i think the loctite just gums up the thread personaly. i wouldnt add anything.
Re: Installing trigger
Yep, the torque value is like 12 ft.lbs. for that bolt if memory serves me right, not a whole lot of Scrumph required.
