Tomorrow, Oct. 1st, "The Mrs.", with her Axiom, takes her test to get her first-ever bowhunting license. I'm confident I'll have a new huntin' and Excalibur totin' buddy.

Passed with flying colors! Then on to the nearest sports shop to buy her license.
All of your wishes for good luck must've helped . (thanks for that!)
I was surprised to see all the crossbows there, they outnumbered compounds. However, only one other Excalibur, other than my wife's. Another bowhunter has joined our ranks.
Vixen 2, metal ibex,Phoenix, sapphire, matrix 330 ,matrix 355 ,vortex and baby grand piano y25 relayer.
Trigger tecs, leupold crossbones and nikon bolts.
Zombie slayers and mostly swat broadheads.

Sad what I have seen over years and is main reason here in my area that we are losing hunters other than lack of deer ...
I should not post this maybe will delete it later.Congrats on having wife that is special...
In my area, hunters and potential future hunters are being lost to youth sports (baseball mainly), and of the families I know involved, it's the Dad's trying to live vicariously through their sons and not necessarily the boys wanting to play.
JerseyJeff, congrats to you and your wife, and I wish you both many special memories together and much hunting success.
Thanks, again, for the kind words.
Marlene has been pheasant hunting with me for about 10 years, and we used to rifle hunt in Pennsylvania until the couple we rented the cabin from both passed away within less than a year of each other. They were fine folks and we miss them.
